Thank you for allowing the public to comment on the 2046 Draft EIS. I am commenting as an individual. I support Alternative 3 with the concern that traffic flow and safety be considered prior to development. The road infrastructure in Spokane was not designed to hold the number of cars that will come from the proposed growth. Out of date and inefficient 4 way (or sometimes 6 way) stops need to be converted to roundabouts to improve safety and traffic flow. I am also concerned about structures I see being built on or near seasonal wetlands. This not only leads to flooding concerns for the structures but it removes valuable wildlife habitat for birds, insects, butterflies, and other wildlife.
