Firstly, Hello from Australia. Even though I live here does not mean that I do not care about Spokane. As a Coug alumni and my sister who lives in the city, I visit regularly and am concerned about the potential elimination of the Environmental Review of developments. It is so RARE to have a river as beautiful with little development and numerous walking areas. If anything you should be looking at creating more Nature, not less. ReDevelopment areas that have already been there and need help.
Do NOT take away the natural areas.
I support the Tree and Natural Land Inventory. All trees in my opinion should be protected but absolutely any tree over 30 years. All natural lands throughout the city should be protected. And this is visible when you have Moose arriving in neighbourhoods. They have been displaced. Basically, I hope that David Attenbourough and Jane Goodall are in your brains when you make decisions. -- Kind Regards Anna
