My name is Mike Boyle. I live at 732 S. Green by Underhill Park in Spokane.
I understand the city of Spokane wants to change the environmental impact statement that is currently in place. I can tell you firsthand what a lack of enforcement of an environmental impact can have on an area. I’ve attached a photo of a project that is just up the hill from me by Underhill Park. This is what a lack of management and Enforcement can have happen in an area.
The area where you see the houses was a beautiful forest that was completely gutted. I would strongly urge the mayor and the city Council could please keep the Enforcement that you have in place and more importantly start enforcing them on a regular basis.
