After living here for 12 years, coming from California where the Environment takes Front Stage. I see Spokane so far behind the times when it comes to many aspects. From the police allowing trucks with modified exhaust, to blow Black Burned Oil Smoke into the air. To people working on their cars in the street and spilling Oil and other Toxic Fluids into the storm drains. Noise Pollution is Ubiquitous. People walk their dogs in the State Parks as well as School Grounds and leave the Defecations on the ground for people to step on. Those are just a few of the Issues I and my neighbors have discussed and find to be Ignored by Police and Local officials.
I would enjoy being a part of the Climate Resilience and Sustainability Board should an opening become available.
