I am all for planning for the future housing. I just want to point out that their are established neighborhoods and to be thinking of how these changes are going to affect the character of the neighborhood and home values. We have been residents for 49 years. My neighbors are close to 40 years or more. The large piece of land in front of my house has been a controversial property. Zoning from Residential to a strip mall to the largest Storage complex in Spokane. Our neighborhood has no problem of zoning like across the street, Townhomes along Indian Trail and residential behind them. Something that is conducive to the neighborhood. Affordable housing.
