And so I feel like we need a regional discussion and a joint planning capital facilities plan to address these things and possibly revenue source, possibly bonding. And unless there's political will, hopefully, this committee can be helpful with making the case on that. And your WUI concerns are very well taken. Firewise training is for rural areas. It's not for a city. Yeah.
To me, it's always struck me as sort of going to a drunk driver and explaining to them how to not kill people while driving drunk, and then tossing them the keys and saying, "Good luck out there." Yeah. Homes are sold in that place, and it was in the city limits. They're not thinking about- Yeah ... defensive space.
And that's my question is, we've got the hood up on this, the county's got the hood up on theirs. How do we learn? What do we learn? So I think there needs to be some reflection in the development regulations that we propose and the capital facilities plan of how to deal with this, even if we know it's going to be a heavy lift. And a policy-level direction.
Because aspirational stuff address concerns, unless that's in the capital facilities plan, it's not addressed, period. Yeah. I think
